Phil Collins- Both Sides

Phil Collins has said that Both Sides from 1993 was his most personal album to date, which raised a few eyebrows at the time considering that his breakthrough song as a solo artist, “In the Air Tonight” from 1981’s Face Value, was like musical primal screen therapy. But Collins was also alluding to the fact that the recordings on Both Sides were not only composed by Phil, but he played practically all of the instruments and produced the album, as well.

Phil Collins is my guest In the Studio from his bedside recuperating from back surgery to discuss the reissue of Both Sides, the 2024 version of which includes songs previously not available on vinyl. -Redbeard
