To my knowledge, the Jimi Hendrix early show at Berkeley CA on May 30, 1970 has never officially been released, so "Voodoo Child" is a nice appetizer for the 55th anniversary of "Electric Ladyland" coming up.

Genesis- Mama- Knebworth 6-30-90

Here is  Genesis 30 June 1990 performing "Mama" to over 100,000 on one humid, rainy day at that year's annual Knebworth Festival outside London.

Because drummer/singer/songwriter Phil Collins had a parallel solo career take off during that time, reading the critical reviews from many respected music writers in this period imply that Genesis guitarist Mike Rutherford and keyboardist Tony Banks unwittingly, if not unwillingly, were somehow led by Collins in a more mainstream pop direction. However, the simple facts just don't bear out that assumption.
